Nothing was pleasing in this hotel.
Old fashioned and ugly room.Location on the main road of Andenes, our room had a view to the back entrance of a nearby restaurant.Much too expensive, try to stay somewhere else.

Brand-new, modest unit with 2 single beds. A huge variety of excellent options for meal. Amazing and unbeatable location close to ferry in a pretty quiet area.

Corina.
The first room I was given was terrible - very small, on the north (sunny at night) side and no internet service. I was able to move to another floor the next day - thanks to the lovely young lady who moved me (I think her name was Corina). She was excellent! They should have taken something off my bill for the first night since I needed the internet service and didn't get it as promised.

Dinner was good
Disappointing hotel. When checking in we were appointed to another building, 200 m away. This building was very old en looked like a youth hostel. The room was not very clean. It appeared that the rooms in the main building were fully booked. After our complaints to the staff, we got a partial refund and some free drinks, which was fare. Luckily, we just stayed one night.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short distance from a supermarket, the ferry terminal, and whale safari, and it features a great restaurant right next door for dinner.

the size of the room
the curtains were too light and didn't obscure the room properly during nighttime (and this can be a problem for a visitor not used to the Norwegian light cycle); the wireless connection wasn't available in the room, but only in the reception area

The lady at the reception in the evening was nice, as was the young man in the restaurant.
The room we got was not cleaned. (We got another room.) Next morning the cleaning lady came in without knocking the door (then shut the door without saying anything). Restaurant bill, added to the room bill, was wrong and included other table's bill. (Corrected.) And some of the staff quite gloomy, even unfriendly. However, must say that the lady at the reception in the evening was nice, as was the young man in the restaurant.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect, including the helpful and friendly staff. The location was also great, as it was close to the sandy beach and the ferry. Breakfast was delicious and the hotel facilities were clean and modern.
Nothing that we didn't like.

The location, directly on the beach, provides stunning views from the rooms, especially the ones with cupboards.
Everything was satisfactory or more.

Location was not bad, close to main attractions and restaurants. Continental breakfast offered some tasty baked goods, yogurt, and fruits.
Had to check out and leave luggage at a nearby location with limited hours, which was inconvenient for our plans. The room was outdated and had a musty smell.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel at home. Modern and comfortable facilities. Wonderful views of mountains and water from the rooms. Easy access to plane and bus. Free room upgrade given. Room matched online photos. Fire and tea provided. Bicycles available. Perfect location near shops, restaurants, and lighthouse.
Nothing to complain about at all.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! the value for money was excellent. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the great location right on the beautiful Bleik beach. Secondly, the staff were fantastic. The service was impeccable, and they paid great attention to detail. And finally, the rooms were comfortable and had a cupboard with a great view. It was a fantastic experience overall.
All aspects of my stay at this hotel were more than satisfactory.
